Trouble Runs In Young Family
First we get Tampa Bay’s top prospect Delmon Young chucking a bat at an umpire, punishment still pending, and now, his older/wiser, Detroit Tigers brother Dmitri Young is in trouble too…this time it’s a little more serious and spans a lot further outside of baseball ramifications.
According to reports, Young allegedly choked his former girlfriend, and is being charged with domestic violence assault. The girl alleges that he roughed her up, put his hands around her neck and choked her. He’s supposed to surrender to authorities next Monday.
The charges only carry a 93 day jail stay, and $500 fine. So I guess there’s a chance, if convicted, both Young brothers might be out for the season?? Wow. I guess it’s genetic.
