Chipper Jones, who we at KnuckleCurve just named baseball hottest hitter yesterday, was injured when taking batting practice. In a freak accident, Jones fouled off a pitch but then the ball hit off the batting cage and hit him in the eye. Jones suffered an eye contusion and was scratched from the lineup.
