Soriano Once Again a 30-30 Man

by Tyler Knott Gregson on August 19th, 2006

For the fourth time in his career, Alfonso Soriano has reached the 30-30 milestone.  30+ homers and 30+ stolen bases in one season.  Guess what, he’s also the first Washington Nationals player to ever do it.  Shocker.

At any rate, he’s one more 30-30 season shy of tying Barry and Bobby Bonds at 5 in the record books for people who’ve done it the most.

30-30, man that’s a feat.  Congrats Soriano, please do it at least 2 more times so the word Bonds can be moved down a notch.  Please?
