Rocket Roger’s Back For 5 Innings

by Tyler Knott Gregson on June 22nd, 2006

Can you really come “back” if you’ve never really gone away in the first place?  Roger Clemens is out to prove that you can indeed make a comeback from a non-existent departure.  Everyone needs a cause Roger, who needs the One Campaign, this cause is yours.

So he’s back, er, here…how’d it actually go?  Well, it went, for 5 innings before he took his seat again.  Clemens threw 100 pitches over five innings, allowing two runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts, eh, not too bad for a recent fake-retiree.

Welcome back, um, again, for the millionth time Roger, maybe you’ll stay awhile this time.
