Red Sox Acquire Javy Lopez!?!
I don’t know if this is true, or even if it’s been officially confirmed yet, but rumors are running rampant around the Blogosphere and AP that the Red Sox have gone out and acquired veteran catcher Javy Lopez to help fill the gap of V-Tek.
I hope this is true, I’ve always been a BIG Lopez fan and God knows the Sox could use the help right now. Being tied for 1st with the Yankees has never been, nor will ever be a comforting feeling.
I’ll let you know as soon as its confirmed, until then, cross your fingers.
