No License Required To Run Fantasy Leagues
In news that will certainly excite many, many people in the sports underground, judges ruled that no licenses are required or necessary to run fantasy baseball leagues.
MLB’s “internet arm” Major League Baseball Advanced Media, has to deal with this setback in their desperate attempts to regulate the hundreds, if not thousands, of fantasy leagues springing up everywhere.
With more than 15 million people each year participating to the tune of $1.5 billion a year, clearly this is an industry that MLB feels like they should be able to cash in on…what’s your call, should they?
