MLB Teams Up To Fight Prostate Cancer

by Tyler Knott Gregson on June 13th, 2006

You’d think 13 Gold Gloves would be enough for a man to just stop and relax for a bit.  Now the back-flippin’ Ozzie Smith is proving to men across the country he’s still a role model, even though he’s 10 years removed from the lineup.

How he’s doing it this time, is by showing men how easy, and how important it is to be tested yearly for prostate cancer.  The scary thing is, in the amount of time for you to read this a man somewhere will diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Smith is a pledge in the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s Home Run Challenge and I respect that more than I can tell you on this blog.  At any rate, follow the link and learn more about it, it’s such a great cause.
