“He’s a horse’s ass…and you can quote me on that.”
Like the article I just read says, we don’t know for 100% sure what Babe Ruth would be saying about all this right now, how he’d feel about Barry Bonds, how he’d feel about his 2nd place sliding into a 3rd. We just don’t know…what we DO know, however, is how his last remaining teammate feels, and how he thinks Babe would feel.
I guess all those questions are pretty much answered with the quote in the title of this article. Billy Werber, soon-to-be 98 years old and still as fiesty as ever says he’s never seen Barry Bonds play, nor does he intend to. He doesn’t watch games any more cause they “take too long,” and when asked why he doesn’t watch Barry play he just simply says,
“He’s a horse’s ass….” Indeed Werber, Indeed.
