Griffey Returns With Walk-Off Bomb & Diving Catch
Here’s a little secret that a proud member of the Red Sox Nation probably shouldn’t admit. My favorite player in Major League Baseball has been, and always will be Ken Griffey Jr. I loved him when he was a Mariner, and I love him now. What I don’t love, is how often he gets injured, and what pains me, is to think of how much More amazing his career Could have been had those injuries never plagued him.
Regardless, he returned to the Red’s line up to a fanfare of his own creation. First he had a diving catch that most likely made Web Gem’s; then, after 11 long innings, Griffey hit a walk-off three run homerun to seal the Red’s victory, 5-4 over the Nationals.
Welcome Back Griff…Stay healthy, I’ll stay watching.

It is really good to see Jr. out there. Nice reminder of when you were a kid and he was the best player in baseball.
Tyler, you need some photos on this site. Today should have that photo of Dirk Nowitski raising his triumphant German fist after game 3 win. Tony Parker is a loooooooser.

I agree Geez, I do need pictures…I’ll get on that my friend, I’ll get on that right now.
P.S. A photo of Dirk raising his fist will not now, nor will it ever find a home on this site.
