El Duque To The Mets

by Tyler Knott Gregson on May 24th, 2006

All in all, I think the Mets got a pretty good deal; Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez for reliever Jorge Julio…I’d take it.

While it’s true this season, so far, El Duque isn’t as impressive or on his game as usual, he was a member of the World Series White Sox, as well as some pretty darn impressive Yankee rotations.  He’s a solid pitcher when he’s on, and he could be the little spark the Mets needed.

Time will tell, but I forsee Hernandez doing pretty darn well in a Mets uniform.  Sound off, how will he do, what do you think??
