D. Lee Back to D.L.

by Tyler Knott Gregson on July 24th, 2006

Man, how would you feel if you’re the friggen Cubbies?  Worst stigma since before the Red Sox finally broke the Curse and now, you finally put together a team that Could make it to the Series (arguably) and what happens, all the players that make it that team get hurt.  Again.

That’s right, D. Lee is back on the D.L with something called post-traumatic inflammation of the wrist.  Sounds like his wrist was in ‘Nam or something, post-traumatic.

Regardless, he’s back on the 15 Day D.L. until hopefully this blows over for good.  Meanwhile, Cubs fans everywhere are getting ready to again drown their sorrows, that is, unless they can overcome a 18.5 game deficit.
