Baseball Is Back (Sort Of)

by Geoff Young on January 21st, 2007

My alma mater, the University of San Diego, played an exhibition game this afternoon. We left after four innings. It was great to be out at the ballpark, but the score was already 17-0 and we had things to do — like not watch a game that was 17-0 after four innings, for example.

Anyway, I managed to snap a few photos:

Any day at the ballpark is a good day.

Spring training is almost here, folks. Are you ready?

    That’s a beautiful stadium.

We are lucky to have many great places to watch a game here. This one is cut into the side of a hill. There’s another just down the road that looks right out onto the Pacific Ocean.
