Aww Soriano Comes Around
Well tickle me surprised! After doing a post not too long ago about Alfonso’s beef with the Nationals, he does a full 180 and not only agrees to move to 2nd base, he does it on the day he was supposed to have off!
I can only imagine that Frank Robinson and the rest of the team were a bit surprised too. Soriano reportedly made this “personal sacrafice” because, and I quote, “”I want to play this game because I love this game…That’s why I changed my mind.”
Well right on Soriano, I’m proud of you, and you know what, it kind of warms my little heart that you even got the thrill of a double play all the way out there in the outfield. I bet it felt like a little slice of home.
