5 Homers in One Game = Reds Win

by Tyler Knott Gregson on August 17th, 2006

5 bombs in one game, good Lord.

That’s right, last night in the Reds 7-2 victory over the Cardinals, 5 balls were hit over the fence for the Reds, 2 of those by Edwin Encarnacion.

At any rate, I haven’t done enough research to know what the record is for the most homers in one game is, but I have to say that for one team, I’m guessing 5 is pretty close.

Anyone know? Let ME know.
